Playing a competitive Division 1 sport I am familiar with what it takes to get into great shape and meet your fitness goals. I started using Carlos about 2 years ago and have been able to drop 30 pounds and reduce my body fat by about 10%. I’ve Improve my golf game, eat healthier, and found an overall better quality of life. Unlike trainers that I have worked with in the past Carlos’ routines never get old. He continues to find new ways to keep workouts cutting edge, but at the same time still making sure that I am meeting my fitness goals. Just like anyone I dreaded getting up to work out, but Carlos has made it fun, and with his personality, it is like you are working out with a great trainer, but also a friend. I developed an interest in sport and exercise early in life. The fitness level required to participate at a high level in sports motivated me as a young athlete to increase my physical strength, stamina, and mental grit.
I carried these attributes into my young adult life, finding joy in exercise and fitness while challenging myself to master different sports and exercise methods. Now, many years later, it is that love of physical activity and fitness that keeps me feeling great and allows me to participate in all that I choose.
While searching for a career change in my 30’s, I decided to trust in the concept that one could have a career doing what they love. My passion for exercise and fitness was no secret to my family and friends, who frequently came to me for advice and for whom I often devised exercise routines. I suppose I hadn’t considered incorporating this love into a career because I didn’t think of it as “work.” Realizing that I could and should combine passion and work was an epiphany and changed my life. I returned to school and earned a Master’s Degree in Exercise Science, further developing my readiness and excitement for the challenge ahead.
For over twenty years, I have been coaching clients through health and fitness challenges and love helping them reach their goals. I know, first hand, the many physical, mental, and emotional benefits of regular exercise, and am honored to help improve the quality of my clients’ lives. I’ve learned that the love of exercising doesn’t come easily to many people. If you are one who struggles, you are certainly not alone, and I am here to help!
My mission is Twofold :
1. To empower as many people as I can with the tools to gain strength, lose weight, eliminate pain and do more of the things that make life meaningful.
2. To show my clients that by incorporating exercise into their lives they will reap tangible, long-term rewards. Exercise, along with healthy dietary and lifestyle choices, forge the ultimate path to youthfulness, vitality and, ultimately, a life well lived!
